Fully Funded in Four Hours!

Well… that happened fast. 🥹

On July 8, we officially launched our very first bake-along picture book, Once Upon a Chocolate Chip Cookie, on Kickstarter. We hoped a few of you would show up and support it. We crossed our fingers for a strong first day.

And then… you all showed up in a BIG way.

Within 24 hours, we raised over $10,000 and welcomed more than 230 backers into our little cookie dream. That’s not just numbers on a screen — that’s families, saying “yes” to something we poured our hearts into.

We’re overwhelmed. We’re grateful. We’re still kind of in shock.

What This Book Means to Us

If you’ve followed Missy and her family for a while, you know how much they love baking together — especially cookies. This book was created so other families could do the same… slow down, gather in the kitchen, and make something sweet together.

It’s the kind of book we wish we had when we were growing up. And now, it’s real.

What’s Next?

The campaign runs through August 7, and now that we’re fully funded, we’re unlocking stretch goals to add even more fun:

• A baking activity pack for every backer (printable games + lessons!)

• A professionally recorded audiobook you can listen to while you bake

• The chance to have your name printed inside the book

• And if we hit our biggest goal… a live virtual baking party with Missy!

We have so many fun updates planned — videos, behind-the-scenes moments, and a few surprises we can’t wait to share.
